I have a question about qualifying. I'm looking and I can't seem to find how to submit times. It does say qualifying can be done anytime, any day though. Thanks!

lol, you must have a Race Official qualify you, or another competitor in the series to witness your attempt. Typically people wait until the day of the race to qualify. (although I wish they wouldn't) Times are to be sent to me. They will not be posted until after the race, along with the race results. Once I have all the times, you will be informed where your grid position ends up being.

ok, big changes for Series 5 here!

It has been pushed back to allow for more teams to sign up, and instead, we have cancelled series 6

So IFCA Endurance Series 5 is the final Endurance Series of the 2008 Season!

The delay has meant the schedule has been pushed back, and now looks as follows!

R1 - Tsukuba - 50 laps - 30th Aug - 16:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)
R2 - Sebring - 50 laps - 6th Sept - 6:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)
R3 - Motegi East - 50 laps - 13th Sept - 16:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)
R4 - Silverstone National - 50 laps - 20th Sept - 16:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)
R5 - Road America - 50 laps - 27th Sept - 16:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)
R6 - Laguna Seca - 50 laps - 4th Oct - 16:00 CST / 22:00 GMT (UK) / 05:00 West OZ (sun)

Been searching for some endurace races, and found the IFCA. Looks good so im going to compete.

Firstly, i have some (rather stupid) questions. I apologise in advance.

1) Im guessing you are allowed to use your own setup on the cars? (tire pressures, aero levels etc)

2) Once you have made your car choice, is that it for the rest of the series? (eg; if i pick the Mercedes, do i have to use it for the entire series?)

3) Once i've registered for the event, can i qualify at any time (providing i can get hold of an official)??

I know they are stupid questions, but, i want to make sure i don't mess up.

hey apexeus, welcome buddy

1) you will need to use a setup, be it your own or someone else's. The series is a while away, so its plenty of practice time!

2) Once you have chosen a car, you run the car for the whole series

3) You can qualify whenever you want before that weeks race. This does need to be done with a race official, or someone else who can verify the result. Most people it seems qualify on race day, before the cut-off time which is half an hour before race time.

Any other questions, just ask! Wink

If there is one person who is unsure, there are bound to be other people too..

I don't think I could handle more then 25... even that would be brutal.

Just to clarify...I thought that I had read that GTDon has the paint jobs. Do we send our car to him for paint?
