...that i am withdrawing myself from the IFCA circles. I am also removing myself from Forza, and most probably XBL too

The reason? Personal life is taking prominance and my time can't be split easily without making it a giant hassle, which frankly im not prepared to do

I have put so mch effort into bringing this site to how it is, i'd hate to see it slip. This means the community needs to help out. Make the IFCA a success, just without me

ok, firstly, if you are unaware of the situation, please read this thread

So what does this mean?

Well basically, i need someone or a group of people to step up and run the last Spec series of the 2008 season. I know i won't be running it, or be around to help run it, so its a case of it dies until a new arrangement is met for 2009, or some kind folks out there step up to the plate

Now, in no way are you expected to do what i did for Series 3! I went OTT to create the ultimate ...

This special edition comes on the heels of the surprise departure of one of the long time supporters, racers, and key organizers of the IFCA. VVV Chilledheat has cleared out his IFCA desk, said his goodbyes, and is headed back into the Forza ether from whence he came.

If you are unfamiliar with the GP2 series - dubbed the unofficial Formula 1 feeder series - it is a 2 part race weekend series. Heres how it would work!

Qualifying

Everyone involved in the series will qualify a time around that weeks track. This will determine the grid, and ultimately the room they will be in

Pole Position will gain 2 points

Race

Race 1 will be composed of the Feature Race if you will - 25 laps with a mandatory pitstop. Points awarded to all 8 drivers - (1st/10pts), ...

IDEA: IFCA Pro GT series

Think JGTC, only worldwide cars and much much faster.

For 2009, the JGTC will take on a much more realistic feel to replicating the real Super GT, but thats miles from now, so this is a series more for the FIA GT of somesort.

I have infront of me compiled 2 groups of cars:

gonein60 first expressed love for time attack in his thread, but I havent seen him around much lately.

But, heres my 'series' idea for a Time Attack seires.

When:

A weekday night around 9-10pm UK time

Each week has a different track/car

How does this make a series?

Each week there will be an open lobby for a certain time period, say 30 mins or 45 mins, you have that time to set a lap with other people on the road - so look after your car.

You can run the Endurance Series as an individual, but you won't get 2 drivers worth of points, thus limiting your overal chances!

Remember guys, im going for realism this season, so below is v1.0 of the JGTC series 5 shcedule.

The classes are R3 and R4 and each class is run at a different time, so for those who run both classes, some weekends there will be a slight difference in tracks, but they will always be at the same venue.

JGTC 5 Schedule:

Races to be ran Sunday 21st September - Sunday 9th November (8 weeks)

Hey guys, i already gave Don great props for this, ive only played forza for 2 months so i never knew anything like this existed when i joined Jeds room the other night i was like WTF chargers on King Cobra in U Class lol, hes like its IFCA race, basically they filled me in and now im here so again to anyone else this is a fantastic idea guys, you just made Forza that much better congrats to the creative minds you guys have.

Where all the competitors buy the same tuned cars from one of the Garages in the marketplace. we would have to keep the same tune only adjustment being brake pressure.. We could even vote at the Start of the week on any car that has been released in the past week. the car with the most votes is our race machine.
