Model : 2005 Honda #8 ARTA NSX Group 1 Car
Engine and Power Stock
Platform and Handling Race Brakes
Rims Volk TE37
History of the Honda NSX-R GT For use in the Super GT, formerly the All Japan GTC and JGTC, the NSX has been highly modified (as allowed by series technical regulations) with chassis development by Dome, engine development by Mugen, for Honda. Externally the NSX shape has developed race by race, season to season to the demands of increasing aerodynamic downforce within the regulations. The most notable change is the position of the V6 engine, which is mounted longitudinally instead of transversely as per the roadcar. Similar to the setup used in modern Lamborghinis, the gearbox is located in the center tunnel under the cockpit and is connected to the rear differential by a driveshaft. Engines can either be turbocharged or naturally aspirated, depending on the class and on the rules. The NSX continues to be used as the works Honda car in the GT500 class, even though it is no longer in production
The Honda NSX has been an icon in Super GT racing, the car has been used in both GT500 and GT300 classes since 1998, when the famous purple Raybrig NSX was introduced to the GT500 class. Since then more NSX's have been entering both classes of the Super GT. In 2007 the NSX took the glory of the GT500 championship thanks to the #8 Arta NSX team _________________

Model : 2003 Nissan #12 CALSONIC Skyline R34 Group 1 Car
Engine and Power Stock
Platform and Handling Race Brakes
Rims Motegi TRAKLITE 2
History of the Nissan Skyline GTR The GT-R's history of racetrack dominance began with its 50 victories scored from 1968-1972, including 49 consecutive wins in the Japanese race circuit. Nissan pulled out of racing shortly after the release of the KPGC110
The Skyline GT-R soon earned the name Godzilla, for its track performance. The R32 GT-R dominated JTCC, winning 29 races from 29 starts, taking the series title every year from 1989-1993. It took 50 races from 50 starts from 1991-1997 (latterly R33) in the N1 Super Taikyu. The GT-R's success sounded the death knell of Group A Touring Car racing; with the formula being scrapped soon after. JTCC was similarly blighted by the R32 GT-R, and splintered soon after, leading to the switch to the Supertouring category and also indirectly to the GT500 category of today
The GT-R's success in motor racing was formidable, particularly in the annual 1,000 km race at the Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst, Australia, where the winner in 1991 and 1992 was a GT-R (despite receiving additional 100 kg (220 lb) in weight penalties and a turbo pop off valve in 1992), and in the Japanese GT series where it has remained dominant for many years. The Skyline GT-R line were retired from the JGTC series (later changed Super GT Series) in 2004. It's successor, the Nissan GT-R, competed in the 2008 Super GT season, winning the GT500 _________________

History Of The Toyota Supra Since first appearing in 1995, Toyota has raced the JZA80 Supra as a GT500 race car in the JGTC series. Beginning with a four cylinder 2.1-liter turbocharged 4T-GTE mounted onto a stock bodyshell with wide arch body kit and spoiler
Over the years, as demands for expensive GT1 race specials became common, the JGTC regulation drifted away from FIA rules, as a result, the Supra has progressively underwent numerous changes over the years, most noticeable, the numerous body changes and by the late 1990s, the Supra used a developed version of the 3SG, which was developed from the IMSA engine and similar to the 3SGTE engine found Toyota Corolla WRC car. By the early 2000s, for the benefit of torque, the Supra moved on to 3UZ-FE V8 engine. Altogether, the Supra has taken the title four times in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005. Despite being out of production since 2002, factory teams continued to use JZA80 Supras with continues successes. The car's swansong competitive year was in 2006, when it was used by Toyota Team Tsuchiya and Toyota Team SARD, since then, the Supra has since being replaced by the Lexus SC _________________

Engine and Power Stock
Platform and Handling Stock Driveline
Rims FIKSE FM/10
History of the Chevrolet Corvette The Chevrolet Corvette only made an appearance in the JGTC and SuperGT 3 times overall. With the Corvette C4 in 2002 and Corvette C6 model in 2005 and 2008, unfortunately it was never successful
Out of 8 rounds the Corvette C4 only competed in 5 rounds, but was only able to race for 1 round and scored no points. All the other times the qualify time was to slow for the Corvette to be permitted in the race
In 2005 A&S Racing fielded an Corvette C6. No points were scored out of 8 rounds. A&S Racing returned with the Corvette C6 in 2008, but again no points were scored. Also the Corvette ran a very simple livery with very basic sponsors and no real livery colours, at the end of the season it had no more then 5 sponsors on the car _________________

History of the Ferrari Maranello The Ferrari Maranello was last seen in the 2005 GT500 Class of the Super GT. Ferrari have ever only ran the 550 model of the Maranello, alongside its younger sister car, the 360 Modena in the GT300 class. In 2005 the Nomad Maranello Ferrari was part of the Hitotsuyama Racing team that also ran a McLaren F1 GT in the GT500 class of the same year. Unfortunately both European supercar teams did not complete the whole of the 2005 GT500 season and was subsequently the last season that these cars were seen. As 2004 was when the model was first seen in the JGTC, Ferrari proved that the Maranello was not up to scratch as the rest of the GT500 cars, and continured with their GT300 class 360 Modena _________________

History of the Lexus SC430 In 2006 the SC 430 was entered in the (Super GT) race series in the GT500 class (cars with approximately 500 horsepower). Extensively modified from the factory car, the engine used is a modified version of the SC 430's 3UZ-FE V8 that was also used in the Toyota Supra race car from previous years
