We are all aware of areas on tracks that don't fully follow the rules of either racing, or Forzas in-game penalty system, so that makes it OK to use them, right?
WRONG!
First and foremost, your aim is to keep all 4 tyres on the track. This is where racing is done!

Curbing is the extention to the track, and can be used. However, it is only to be used by that side of the car's tyres. Left hand corner, left side tyres can ride the curb. Vice Versa. You do not cut the curbing.
Corners with no curbing? You can get awfully close, but you do not whore across the corner because you can - you drive the corner on the track, with a front tyre dipped in at most
This isn't hotlapping, this is racing. Even if the track doesn't give you a penalty, i will!
Basically, if you think anything that you have done in the past/ will do in the future/ or are unsure about, you dont do it! Any uncertainty, you don't do it! You will have to think about your racing, and consciously not make these errors - your lap times should be slower than normal
There will be leniency in a '3 strikes and you got a penalty' system, but depending on the severity, the punishment could be greater. This is to my discretion!
Where i think cuts are aparent, i will detail them in that weeks race. Drive the track gentleman, and let the good times roll! _________________

Ok, I get that most corners it's very obvious if you're cutting, but for me there's on in particular that I can't always see well and don't know if I am cutting it until I'm on it.
It's that one we all know on Road Atlanta...T3 I think, since I drive from hood/bumper it's hard to actually see (espcecially in traffic) the corner and sometimes I four wheel the bumper. I understand if I hit grass, then yes that is obviuos cutting and should be penalized, but how will four wheeling the bumper be handled if it just happens every now and then (or just obviously not on purpose)? |

well, firstly would recommend trying to drive consistantly without going over it, but in my mind, there are slightly different rules in place regarding when driving on your own, and when in a group - a little more leniency if you will on your own, then you're expected to drive the track. in a group, then i will be more lenient, and more understanding. In effect, its when it is blatant with no regard or second thoughts to what i have been explicitly been stating. This i take to be a break of the rules. If i can see that the driver has made an effort or was offline or simply fudged it, then i probably won't do anything, but its just so that everyone knows... you cut corners, you run the risk...so DON'T DO IT thankfully, i've chosen tracks where not many cuts are apparent, but guarantee that someone will use it, so im covering my back! _________________
