I think that went well overall. I managed to spin Flexy through the first corners early and waited on the shoulder until everyone passed me. I spent the rest of the race battling back from 8th place to finish in 4th. I still can't believe that I managed to spin him with that little tap, but I figured since it affected everyone's race I'd drop to last. Not as fun as last week, but enjoyable nonetheless. I'm just angry that I had so much green through the time checks, even on lap 24, and never managed to put them together. Oh well, until next week!

I ran 24 clean laps with no mistakes and only lost probably 1 second in real time for my 1 mistake it went really well as I watched the rest of the A-lobby drive away from me.

Probably the most enjoyable race of the season for me. Had some great racing with R6 and Flex. I managed to get by R6 on lap 1 in the hairpin. Flex and Wulf got together on lap 2 or 3, allowing me to take over the lead with R6 hot on my heels. After leading a handfull of laps, I made a bobble coming on to the back straight and R6 got back by me. Flex was hounding me until he decided to pit on around lap 9 or 10 I think. R6 pitted, and then me a lap later. When I came out R6 and Flex slipped by and I slammed into Flex's lagging car dropping me about 500m behind them. I spent the rest of the race trying to catch up and on lap 22 got by flex who was having problems with grip on his worn tires. So I set my sights on the leader R6, who was now 2-300 meters ahead. I pulled off consecutive 13.6s and found that I needed just one more lap, finishing about 30-40m behing him. Exciting race, too bad about the lag with flex though or I might have had a room win! Flex had a 2:13.617 fast lap and I had a 2:13.627, just an example of how close the racing is in this series. Good stuff!

Great race in room 2! I could never be sure whether I was in trouble or in the clear with all of the battling and "closing in" that happened. Flex definitely kept me on my toes for a quarter of the race, while Jim sure put on the pressure with how much he had closed the gap after the first half. Those two would never let me rest easy! Very Happy See you all at Road Atlanta next week.

well, in what was a rediculously close qualifying for second place, i started 4th, but went to third early after loco went off at turn 1...

...from there it was about trying to nail qualy style laps, lap after lap to just keep up, let-alone trying to gain. Alas, i couldn't do this, and made a mistake, allowing Jed through

I could keep up with Jed and Greek, but then made another mistake and slipped back

This was how it was til late on in the race, where Greek had a major issue in turn one, and dropped to 5th. Loco then gave me late pressure but seemed to lag into a wall, making my third safe

Not bad but not what i want. More practice for next week me thinks! No chance of catching first in championship now, so time to consolidate second!

My race went well. I knew I wanted to start out front because a) Turn 1 is just scary here, and b) its was super hard to pass people clean in practice.

Started on pole, pulled away until pit stops on lap 13... had over a 3 second lead at that point. After pitting I was just crusing, putting in laps, making sure not to cut or go off.

Before pitting I was running 2:12.3 - 2:12.6's and after I was more in the 2:12.8 - 2:13.0 range.

Biggest lead I saw was 4.5 seconds, and in the last few laps Jed closed that up to around 2 seconds... I was hoping he would realize he was gaining on me, push harder, go off and give the room some colorful commentary haha Smile

Just gotta get in the 'A' lobby from here on out. Thats the goal now.

GO TRC ORANGE!!!

Had a decent race, with some close racing in the beginning. Unlike Maple Valley my lap times got better with some wear on the tires. I bettered my qualifying time by almost a second and managed to string together some consistant laps with few mistakes. With 1 lap to go I pulled off to let the leaders through...as much as I hate being lapped, I didn't want to interfere.

sorry chilled for my dodgy strategy, not good for the team! i had the pace most of the time on good tyres, but it was impossible to overtake even if you have a good run on someone because there is on ly one line you can take in these dodgy cars. i lost many seconds at the end from the tyres, couldnt beleivew it - i had been battling for the lead down to 15 seconds off in a few laps. all in all a fun race, with good driving from all in my lobby. and wulf and i were very unlucky at the start with a strange spin, though i'm very grateful for his waiting, even though i think it was a bit too hard on him!

Looking great coming through the hairpin.

Not looking so great when I managed to spin Flexy on lap 3. Just a light tap but he flew.

Letting everyone get by since I hosed up the race.

... and I mean EVERYONE. Sportsmanship people!
