FWC13 Format and Info

In the past we have always liked a broad mix of cars and tracks depending on the number of sign ups.  FWC13 will stick with tradition and present a different car and track combination each round.

Again, everything depends on the number of sign-ups.  The more sign-ups, the more rounds can be added.

Let us assume that we will have at least 16 drivers.  This will generate 4 elimination rounds. 16, 8, 4, 2.

A 3 lap qualifier will occur just prior to each race to set the grid.

Each round everyone will be in the same car with forced stock tuning, except the Championship final round. Each finalist will be in the same car, but will be allowed to tune that car to their liking.

The cars picked are never leader board cars or DLC cars.  The tracks also are not DLC and will not be ovals.

Any and all assists are always allowed, and there will be no pit required.

There will be no restarts or cautions.

IFCA Rules of the Road will apply.

Each race will be rated.

No livery requirements.




Round 1 Car and Track 30laps
2000 Ford SVT Cobra R B501/Daytona 24hr Night

Round 2 Quarter Finals Car and Track 25laps
2013 KTM X-Bow R A695/LeMans Bugatti

Round 3 Semi Finals Car and Track 25laps
2013 Formula Ford Ecoboost 200 S772/Yas Marina North Alt Night



Round 4 FWC13 Championship Car and Track 18laps
2016 #66 Ford Racing GT LeMans R859/Sebring Full


*The only car that will not be forced stock tuning is the Championship round R859 Ford GT.  It must retain the stock P.I. but can be built and tuned in any way the finalists see fit.

As the grid expands into possibly the need for 2 lobbies, the 2nd elimination round will be limited to the top 16 finishers and/or those within the time limit from lobby 2.  From this group only the top 8 will then move to the quarter finals, and then the top 4 to the semi.

For the first round, lobby 1 will be limited to a maximum grid of 20. We will attempt to equally divide the entire field between the 2 grids with a minimum of 10 drivers in lobby 1.

The drivers in lobby 2 must be within 1sec of the 8th place finisher of lobby 1 to advance to the 2nd round. This may produce more than 16 drivers for the 2nd round, but then only the top 8 will move on to the quarter final. From there the top 4 will enter the semi-final, and then 2 will emerge to race head to head in the FWC13 Championship a week later.

Come on Manuel, everyone can drive a stock car, that's lame.  About as bad as someone crying that some of the cars are mid-engine cars.  

The FWC challenge has traditionally been all about the most adept and skilled drivers, regardless of the cars, tracks, or builds used. Seldom are the cars and tracks ever to the liking of everyone, and this is on purpose. We've never used cars that people are very familiar with. This helps to level the playing field.

But hey, just because you don't have a snowflake's chance in hell of making it to the second round anyway, why not race? lol

I'm not crying, I just cant do it with stock pressure. Something changed from FM4 to FM5 and FM6 that is imposible to me do it without adjust it.

Okay! As a reminder The BIG day is finally here! 6:00 CST The last FWC! FWC13! One last chance to grab some Forza glory and add your name to the famous FWC trophy with all the other legends of the sport! To become one of the very few who have proven their Forza metal in the most demanding high pressure format we could conceive of. A format that has even been recently copied by Turn 10 themselves! How ironic that the very last FWC on its 10 year anniversary ends the day before Turn 10 begins its first ever Forza Championship! Imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery, and the IFCA is honored by it.

So don't forget!  Today is the last day to add your name to a very short list of truly dedicated and now legendary Forza drivers who have claimed the FWC title at least once!  Names like:
